How long does an interior detail take?
Most vehicles take three to five hours. We book one vehicle per slot, so yours is the only one being worked on. We will tell you the expected finish time when you drop off.
Why is the price an estimate?
The questions you answer get us within a few dollars, but Rin confirms the final price when she sees the vehicle. Nothing is charged until the work is done, and if the price changes you approve it first.
When do I pay?
Your card is saved securely at booking through Stripe and is not charged. After the detail is finished you get a receipt and the card is charged then. We never hold a deposit.
Do you charge extra for pet hair?
Yes, and we tell you up front. Pet hair is slow, careful work. The amount is in your quote before you book, based on what you tell us, so there is no surprise at pickup.
Can you come to me?
Yes, anywhere within 20 km of Spruce Grove, for 50. Below five degrees we need indoor space such as a garage, because interior products and extraction do not work in the cold. The calendar shows you which days this applies to.
Are you open in winter?
All year. The studio is heated, which is exactly when an interior detail matters most. Salt is the single worst thing for carpets and mats.
Where are you?
A private studio in Spruce Grove. The address goes out with your booking confirmation. We serve Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County and Acheson.
Do you wash the outside?
No. Grove & Gloss is interior only, on purpose. Doing one thing properly beats doing everything adequately.
What is included?
Full vacuum, compressed air through every seam and vent, hot water extraction on carpets and cloth seats, steam on hard surfaces, leather cleaned and conditioned, glass, door jambs and all plastics dressed matte, not greasy.
Do I get before and after photos?
Every job. Eight fixed angles, shot before we start and again when we finish, lined up so you can slide between them. They land in your own client page.
What if I need to cancel?
No charge with more than 24 hours notice. Inside 24 hours there is a 50 fee, because the slot cannot be refilled that late.
How often should I book?
Most people land on every four months. If you have pets, kids or a work truck, every three keeps it ahead of the damage. We will remind you when it is time.
